Art Language Location Festival

For the past few months I have been making new work to be installed at the Museum of Cambridge as part of the Art Language Location Festival. The work will be a series of printed and a series of embroidered doilies placed and used in the museum’s tea room and a large lace installation in the window.

The lace is designed from text written in the diary of Clarice Spratling, a WW1 VAD Nurse. For this series of doilies the words all reference tea and the designs are made in response to paper doilies known as Cambridge Lace Doilies. For more information about the work see my blogĀ
