I would like to be able to say that the experimenting is over and that real work has begun. However, I find the fabric etching process and its potential for etching paper so fascinating that whilst I am working to produce the finished pillowcases I keep being distracted by the urge to play.
My last visit to London Printworks was a very productive one. Six pillowcases printed and etched through a burning process using the heat press and several experiments on paper completed.

The completed pillowcases now need to be hand embroidered and then a further printing and etching before they are completely finished.
